4. Kox's Brain/Heart painting on the Galerie Toxic invitation card is now appearing simultaneously (courtesy of Galerie Toxic) in a special exhibition in Martigny, Switzerland, which opened September 3, 2011. The painting was done in Bimini, Bahamas, 2010-2011, and illustrates how the brain and the heart are tied together in a complex communication system that produces electrical frequencies linked too the spirit realm.

5. La Luz de Jesus, Los Angeles, public openings October 7 & 8, 2011 (Part 1) and November 4 & 5, 2011 (Part 2). Kox artwork in Part 1: image.
The Friday and Saturday night openings are from 8-11 PM.
LA LUZ DE JESUS 25, is the biggest show in the history of La Luz de Jesus. It is so big that it's going to take two months to showcase it all.
On the weekends of October 7th and November 4th we'll be celebrating our twenty-fifth year of groundbreaking exhibitions with a show including almost everyone who's ever been featured here.

Billy Shire has masterminded and organized a monumental group show featuring over 250 artists, each of whom have contributed one new piece and a written anecdote about their experience with the gallery. This is La Luz de Jesus Gallery's first survey, featuring three generations of the most important artists working today. There will also be a book -a companion to the show, chronicling the rich legacy of La Luz de Jesus and the movements it helped launch. A complete index of both months can be accessed by following this link.

6. The newest Apocalypse House book, A SPECK OF ATLANTIS - BIMINI: THE TOP OF GOD'S MOUNTAIN, by visionary artist Norbert H. Kox is now available (8 1/2 x 11 paperback, 118 pages, 149 color images, printed in USA on archival paper) http://nkox.homestead.com/BooksByNHK.html

This writing connects the last remaining speck of Atlantis with a tiny island in the Atlantic called Bimini, and presents many of the artworks created by Kox on the Island over a period of eleven years. Along with the Apocalyptic Visual Parable paintings inspired directly by the Bimini setting - including esoteric energy paintings. The Picture Perfect Jesus series (painted in Bimini) is also included in this volume.

Many of the Picture Perfect Jesus images are included in A SPECK OF ATLANTIS - BIMINI: THE TOP OF GOD'S MOUNTAIN. Several of the images appeared in the Raw vision article mentioned below, along with a detailed description of how they came to be:

"Masquerade" is an article by David Damkoehler, in the Raw Vision 2008 Winter Issue #65 (December), about Norbert H. Kox's artworks depicting Warner Sallman's Head Of Christ. Damkoehler offers insights into understanding the subversive imagery in Kox's paintings: "In 1992 Norbert H. Kox inherited a framed print, a portrait of Christ that had hung in a prominent position in his parents' home in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This portrait was to inspire a series of skillfully executed works that exploit visual and textual puns to illustrate Kox's deeply skeptical attitude towards organized religion. ..."

Thank you for your kind interest.
